Mengyao Wang is from Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, China. He received his B.E. in Functional Materials from South China University of Technology in 2024. He then pursued his master's degree at the National University of Singapore, where he conducted research on propane dehydrogenation under the supervision of Dr. Qian He. His current research interests focus on electrochemistry and CO₂ reduction. Outside the lab, Mengyao enjoys working out, reading, and watching football
